This week our family is beginning to prep for my husband's homecoming. We still have several weeks left until his return, but nevertheless we are quite excited to be preparing for his return from his ninth deployment with the Navy. What does this have to do with scrapbooking? Absolutely nothing really, I was just excited and wanted to share!
This week's Glitz Design feature is on Glitz Whatnots. These die cut cardstock shapes make for fun accents to add to crafty projects. I used several Whatnots from the "Finnley" collection to draw the eye across my layout. From the flower/feathers in the upper left corner to the cluster of Whatnots in the lower right corner. The gray circle is a moon strategically placed to look like a circle. I loved the bright colors and cheery patterns to celebrate the monumental moment in my daughter's life - having her braces removed.
